Do you give yourself the "BGI Bonuses" at the start of BGII?

If you're playing a character who you did not play in BGI, do you give him/her the additional stats & experience you would have gotten if you had played him/her through BGI (+1 STR,DEX,CON,INT,CHA, +3 WIS and 161,000 XP)??

Just wondering. I can't decide if I think it's just way too cheesy or not. What do the rest of y'all do?

I usually play the characters from BG1 onwards, but when that's not the case, I don't add the stuff you mention.

Mostly because I'm too lazy to bother. :p

Why do that when you have both Easytutu and BGT to enjoy... :)

(nope. I don't add 'em on when I start someone fresh in BG2).

Very rarely. That's part of my motivation to play the character through BG1 as well.

I wouldn't have said that it was overly cheesy though if you do decide to do so.

    I don't. Either I play with Tutu or I don't edit stats.
Actually I enjoy Tutu a lot more than BG2. Early SoA is fun but I find ToB really boring. So no.

Very often, yes. I don't consider it to be a cheesy tactic.

I've never done it. I usually don't give all the bonuses in BG1 to my main PC anyway (if I'm playing a fighter the WIS bonuses go to my cleric or druid, for example) and the way I distribute the bonuses varies from game to game. So starting a pure BG2 game I just go with what I've got.

I don't use SK but have been known to cheat in a few tomes before...
Having said that I'm currently using a PC imported from BG1 and decided not to use any cheats this time around. The party I used was still insanely powerful by the time they reached Spellhold...

Yes it certainly doesn't matter if the main char has 18-18-18-18-18-18 or 15-15-15-15-15-15. You can easily defeat a(n?) unmodded game with more normal chars.
