colour schemes for the whole party? Example:
    Before...
    Main Character: Blue,Yellow
    Xzar: Green, dark green
    Imoen: Pink, purple

And so on...But with a party colour scheme it goes to...
    Main Character: Black, silver
    Xzar: Black, silver
    Imoen: Black, silver
    etc.

Y'see what i'm getting at? Do any of you use only particular colours for your party to make it look more...professional maybe? Y'know...more smart and organized looking?
If so...please state whether you do and what colour schemes you use...and please also comment on whether you think this idea is a good one...

As you can guess, my colour scheme is:
    Black/Silver

[IMG] Well... when I'm too lazy I just let it reflect their character portraits ;) but it would be a good strategy if you can't already tell who's-who at 1st glance. Wouldn't be necessary though. Coz you can pause the game anyway and find out who's-who. :)

[IMG] I almost always change their colors. But I do not like to have everyone the same color, I get mixed up too easily. My parties are a motley crew :D

As you can see from the screenshots on the site (try the BG2 gallery), I always use one color scheme. Major color: red, minor: white. It started as a joke on Christmas to have all characters dressed as Santas, but it looked quite good so I've kept it ever since. ;)

When I played BG 1 I had all my characters dressed in black, with red trimming. I called them the Nightflames or something like that.
However, in IWD and BG 2 the computer chooses the colours that match the ones your characters' portrait has so I kinda prefered that. I found it a bit more realistic since they're not exactly 'professionals' if you know what I mean. They just happened to be at the wrong place the wrong time. ;)

I use silver-red for rhe man, silver-purple light blue-purple for the ladies. For a thief, there are 4 colors: Brown, Green, Grey and Black, other colors are NEVER good for a thief....
In BG1, I changed the colors of the clothes of my thief when the landscape changed... Brown in the desert, green in the forest, grey in the city and always black at night.

I don't bother with the colors too much after I first create my character, unless I get an item that really clashes with the look of my character like the green Ankreg armor in BG1, or the red armor 'Bathed in Blood' in IWD. Both times I had to change the colors I had to something that didn't look ugly with my character's new color. Also, rarely, I'll change the colors of two similarly equipted fighters just so I can tell them apart easier.

One must have the same clothing colour scheme for the whole party. Major: Black, minor: red. That's cool.

A thief can never use white, blue or red..... When you're al little bit realistic, how can you sneak and hide in shadows with that colors?
