    Are there any good mods which take place in one(or more) of the drow cities in underdark?

    Something that lets you play as a drow, perhaps an mercenary that deals with common riffraff and becomes more known and gets contracts from higher up and eventually courts favours from the most powerful matrons of that particular drow city/citys?

    Yes, A Hunt through the dark, on the nwn vault, is almost exactly what you're looking for. I had some fun with it, but then it started freezing my computer so I stopped playing it. You might have better luck.
