Druids: do they get huge bonuses at level 14?

    I know in Baldur's Gate 2, Druids get a ton of bonuses when they hit level 14. Is it the same with this game?

    I believe IWD treated druids more like clerics. No huge jump in power at 14th level -- but then the jump from 13th to 14th level doesn't take 1,500,000 experience points. At 3 million experience points a druid is 20th level in IWD, instead of 14th level as in SoA.

    Are you sure about that T2? My Druid has been stuck at level 13 for quite a long time now...

    [​IMG] They change the experience table for druids in HoW. That may be your disconnect.

    @Klorox I'm just about to finish IWD again with a Druid, I have HoW and TotL installed and she's level 15, the level progression is not like SoA which is the proper progression for Druids.

    :toofar: Oh, don't get me started. Regular IWD has it the way it's supposed to be, but HoW changes it to something different, as T2B describes.

    They changed the progression because the druid was too weak to use otherwise.
