Dumb Question: Finding the Crystal Mallet

    Where is the Crystal Mallet to shatter the glass case around Carston, and how do I get it?

    IIRC, you have to get the different colored oils from the Githyanki and Mind Flayer dungeons then solve the different colored flames puzzle on the level with Carston and the Machine. Once you've done that, I believe it opens the way to the mallet.

    Yes, after you've done the color thing (ooh fingerpaint!) :) you will find two minotaurs, forgot their names, and behind them are two safes. One of them is trapped, in the other is the mallet. (To break the glass you have to strike it 6 times)

    i was just about to write a topic about this, but someone's done it for me! what my question was:

    how do you find the combination for the flames? if there isnt a note or something to that effect, what is the combo?

    corbulo87: a lot of people have trouble for this. What your meant to to is notice that there are 3 sofa type things IIRC on either side in the main room of that level, i.e. the room with Lum's machine in, and the colour of this correspondes to the colour that you are meant to use for the flames.
