    How are you supposed to dual-wield with the ease of use mod. That's all I have installed. BTW I am currently playing with only the Heart of Winter expansion.

    You cannot dual-wield like you can in BG2 (i.e. equipping two weapons) in the IWD1 engine.

    I am not sure what the component you refer to is meant to let you do, but I'm pretty sure it won't let you equip and attack with a pair of weapons.

    A ranger equipped with one handed weapon and no shield will get a bonus attack/round, this is how dualwielding (sorta) works in IWD. That one extra attack is hugely powerful, especially in lower levels so do not underestimate it!

    I don't know how EoU changed it in this game, but the original dual-wielding was done by putting a one-handed weapon in your ranger's shield slot. You only get one attack with that secondary weapon though.

    EoU contains the component Happy dual-classing.
    It reduces the restrictions for dual-classing.

    There is nothing about dual-weilding in the EoU.

    @kuemper
    Ranger dual-weilding only works with long swords iirc.

    Ranger Dual-wielding in IWD works with any one-handed weapon. I've had C/Rs use Flails (for example) and get the extra attack O.K. Only two-handed weapons don't get the bonus attack, or if you use a shield.

    I have heard about the idea of putting a 1 handed weapon oin your shield-slot (with dalekeeper or NI) before, so anyony can confirm if it works or not ?
