Eberron is the latest WotC setting, for those of you who don't know. But what I's wondering if anyone know much about this?
Anyone played on it before? heard rumors or anything like that?

Eberron is supposedly a big hit, since it combines noir-like intrigue and Indiana Jones-like play into D&D, but it's not my thing. I think it's too alien.

The Eberron campaign setting was the result of a make-your-own-world contest sponsored by Wizards of the Coast. Eberron, of course, won the contest. In detail, there is a main island continent called Khorvaine, and the setting takes place after a big war, during which a race of sentient constructs were made (the Warforged). Now a big part of Eberron is the Warforged and their search to a find a place in a post-war world.

    Like I said, I think it's alien.

I have talked with the creator of the setting that came on second place, he is called Giant in the Playground, and even though he loved his own work, from what i understood, he actually thought that Eberron was very good, even though it was a bit, as Oaz said, Alien.

All I know is, that's about the stupidest name for a fantasy world I've heard in a long time.

And I've heard some stupid, stupid names in my time. I used to run a sword-and-sorcery fiction list, I should know.
