    Hi,

Can anybody guide me through editing the images that appear next to the text in the chat windows when you chat to NPCs?

I want to completely override the originals with my own images, by placing the edited image files in the override directory. I don't simply want to edit the chat scripts.

    Thanks for you help,

First, ensure the portraits you have are in the right format. There's a handy tutorial on the Bioware website: http://nwn.bioware.com/builders/portraits.html

Then find the file names of the portraits you want to replace. I don't have NWN installed on this puter, and won't have access to it until January, so I can't help much with that. But I'm sure there's a way to do it.

Just rename your files to those of the portrait you want to replace, and dump them in the override. Sorry I can't help more, but I have no NWN here.
