Elminster's Hat!

    [​IMG] OK, I keep running in to Elminster and I keep asking myself:
    Why can this dude have a HAT and I can't.
    I tried killing him to get it but when I finally gave up (because after dialogue he likes to disappear) I downloaded gatekeeper to check on this hat and it wasn't there.
    When I play my conjurer I want a hat.

    Oh god the go;den age of Balder's gate has long passed we are into gimp territory now.

    You can't get his hat on its own but you can have his full outfit look fr t in the appearence section.

    [​IMG] Just draw a small red hat on a piece of paper. Use a pair of scissors and cut it out. Now use your left hand to move the hat around with your PC on the screen. Voila! You have a hat.

    Seriously there is nothing you can do, I guess :)

    Au contraire. Using Gatekeeper, or the CluaConsole it sould be possible to change your avatar into that of the big E. D'oh I've just said what Dargon said!

    [​IMG] 1. Don't do what the jokers above suggested regarding changing your character sprite to that of Elminster. His sprite lacks several animation layers and it will crash your game as soon as you try to do something El wasn't scriped for.

    2. There is no way to get a hat of any sort in the game, period. It's only on Elminster because he was drawn as a whole, so his animation includes the hat. It is not removable or on him if you check his inventory.

    Actually tal i think it has smetng to do with ow your comp deals with the problem...mine ran elminster fine until i got bored of him around four chapters later.

    Extremist, they don't sell red hats in the Netherlands and especially not in Velserbroek :) They only sell tulips, wooden shoes and complete cheap "build-them-self-Windmills" :)

    Enrico, don't be jalous about the hat, the hero Elminster deserves to wear it. And you stil have to deserve it by becomming what Elminster already is, a great hero.
