    [IMG] I was wondering. I know that you are supposed to be able to cast spells while wearing elven chain (at least you can in PnP), but it the description of the chain +5 it says, NOT USABLE BY: Mage or Druid. So I assume the bard can.

    My question then is this. Can a MC elven F/M/T with the UAI ability of the thief portion wear it and still be able to cast spells?

    EDIT:
    I figured you would change the topic title. Anyway, thanks for the info.

    All you need is a multi or dual class mage. As long as you can put it on, you can cast spells while wearing it. The F/M/T does not need the UAI ability in order to wear it and cast spells.

    I know you can get these Elven armours in Suldanessaler... thats where Imoen got hers but I think you can also get them somewhere in TOB too.. and if you want an example.. take Imoen... a DC thief/mage who can cast spells with that elven armour...

    A few Elven chain locations=>
    I think Ilassera had elven chain on. Also besides Suldanessalar, you can get some elven chain in Trademeet as early as chapter 2. It involves the crypt quest and the two noble families that hire you.

    If you side with Bodhi and kill Aran Linvhale you get some off him, too (I think).
