Like several (or most) of you probably already have heard or read that Hasbro has recently sold the exclusive rights to produce games based on Hasbro properties (including D&D) to Infogrames for the next 15 years. Yes, in case you didn't know those Hasbro commie bastards bought the D&D license a year ago. Black Isle and SSI can produce D&D games until their contract expires but after that they're done. Bioware and Interplay can make D&D games until 2005, so they should have time for at least 2 or 3 more games.

So if the BG series ends, still a few will likely follow (like NWN as we know) but is there anyone who knows more about future plans at Bioware and Black Isle?

That gives Interplay 4 years to get the rights back. :)

Honestly, four years ahead, I think a lot of things will have changed, so why fear the future?

Fear the future because it's not in your hands.

At least, it's not in mine.

In the future, we can look forward to stupidified dumbed down pop icon culture games.

[IMG] For Bioware... Neverwinter Nights and LOTS of extra mods and expansions, definitely. The game will sell very well.
    After that, no one knows...
