[IMG] Gamespot hasn't reviewed it yet and I saw a copy the other day, so I was wondering: has anybody played it yet? Is it any good? If it's not a piece of crap or totally buggy, I'd like to try it out as I was so jealous when it was xbox-exclusive at the start.

I'm thinking about selling my Xbox normal version and picking up the Lost Chapters for my Xbox instead.

Dunno if it's worth it though, so I also would be interested in hearing about the differances.

Is this something like an extended version of Fable?

I've played the original Xbox version and found it didn't live up to the hype. Needless to say, I was thoroughly disappointed and spent more time kicking chickens across town than playing the main story. It's not a bad game, it's just not quite as good as I expected it to be.

From the Microsoft website, it says the game won't be released until the end of September or so.

What does The Lost Chapters add? I might pick it up, if I find the new things wortwhile to buy the game. I got it on the 'Box, but if there's some new really cool goodies, I might want to give this one a try.

Oh, and even if Fable did not live up to its enormous hype, you can't deny that it's an enjoyable action RPG. It's just abit too short, actually it's way too short, but I really had a good time the first time I ran through it.

If you have the Xbox Fable, I wouldn't say it's worth getting Lost Chapters. The ending is far too anticlimactic; without using powers I finished it in two minutes. It adds a new bit on the end, which completely lacks subquests. I'm not entirely sure what was in the original, most specifically whether Lady Grey featured. But she's been expanded, which is nice. There are other bits too, but it's hard to tell what they are without the Xbox version.

According of that review, it's pretty well done, but they have once again forgotten the NPCs and the story. Hope it isn't yet another hack'n'slash game like Dungeon Siege...

Doesn't sound like I'll get it then. Wish there was something truly new coming with the "expansion" of the game, but it doesn't sound like they've done much at all. I can hardly imagine that expanding a little upon Lady Grey's character would do much to the game.

I got it and despite not being up to the hype, it's still pretty good. Myself didn't know about this one untill it hit the PC. Y'know not owning one of these godawful box of the Damned. Anyway it's still pretty decent, of course you're machine must be able to play it...

    I'd recomend it nonetheless.

So why there is no demo to download? How can I buy the game without trying it? Does my computer meets the requirements? This and many other quesations could be answered if I had the playable demo.

    Here's the requirement ;)

I don't know Lionhead studios doesn't give demo often, as far as I know they never did. But as I said it doesn't live up to hype but it's still pretty solid.

I played this game last night for the first time. It was awesome. I only wish my own personal PC could actually play this game.
