finding the reflection cloak

    The last time I went through the whole game, my ranger found a cloak that reflects all spells back to the caster. Now, I COULD console it in, I have the code, but I would rather find it honestly (sometimes I like to play an unhacked game). Anyone have any ideas where this cloak would be? Please note that I am not looking for the one that reflects electricity damage.

    You are looking for the cloak of mirroring, found in the Sahuagin City (after you take ship with Saemon, which happens after you get out of spellhold). If you have TOB (which I assume you do given where this is posted), it will no longer reflect all spells back, but, instead, just negates most of them. There are mods to be found on this site which can bring back the old way the cloak was treated, but it really does throw the game completely out of balance.

    No, that little fix that Extremist made doesn't make it reflect spells back again, just changes the appearence so instead of a bubble around your character(which is extremly intolerable to look at for me), to the way it was, a small blue circle.

    Also, it changed the Spell Trap from the Staff of the Magi as well which is also helpful since I like to use both to be pretty much immune to magic...

    I thought there was a separate fix that restored the ability to reflect spells and got rid of the bubble effect -- maybe it was on another site.

    I believe to put the cloak back exactly the way it was, all you have to do is remove its update from the override folder. Personally, I don't know what the file name is, but I'm pretty sure it was discussed here before.

    BTA, the file name is clck26.itm. Delete that from your override folder, and you will have the original cloak, although it does make ToB ridiculously easy.
