[IMG] I couldn't really think of a more descriptive title than that, so I'll try to explain. As long as I've had it, firefox will remember submitted information, such as me being logged in BoM (with the remember me), imdb, cbssports, and many other sites. Recently a problem came out of nowhere, in that it no longer keeps me logged in, which as you can guess is an annoyance. This was after a use of CCleaner in which I had it clean firefox (normally don't), but I don't see why that would be an issue. I've checked the settings on firefox and everything should be fine, saving cookies and that whatnot... So basically I'm asking, does anyone have an idea of what else might be causing this and a possible solution?

CCleaner wipes out your Temporary Internet Files folder along with all your cookies (and a dozen other things). Since you also selected to have it clean FF, it might have deleted a save file that had all your login info. I have CCleaner set up so that it doesn't delete the cookies that SP/BoM use to remember my login. It's easy to do in CCleaner's options page.

If you've tried logging in after CCleaner has been ran, and FF *still* doesn't remember your login info, then there's a problem with FF's settings.

Yeah, it's been a while, so I'm sure it's not due to CCleaner's wiping. I was just curious as to whether it could have triggered something else.

This is really irritating though, I didn't change any settings and even tried re-installing firefox :/

    Thanks for the help.

Fixed! I just uninstalled again and did not have it save bookmarks or personal settings.

Funny (read: weird) thing happened today. I visited SP this morning, saw this thread and kinda ignored it. I continued on surfing and some time later Firefox froze and my entire computer seemed unresponsive. I restarted my pc and afterward Firefox seemed unable to store any cookies (checked settings and everything seemed ok). I reinstalled Firefox, kept my bookmarks and settings and the problem persisted. I suddenly remembered this thread, so I did what you did and reinstalled again, this time deleting my settings and everything seems fine now.

I'm not using CCleaner, not even heard of it before today.

    Weird stuff...
