Flash Drive Views

    Does anyone know how to get a flash drive to always use the same display format when plugged in, or to at least stick with a selected display type until you unplug it? Using Windows XP.

    Whenever I plug in a flash drive, it tends to default to the details view in Windows Explorer, or depending on the file type, sometimes the icons view. If I want it to display, say, thumbnails, I have to manually select that. Every time I go back to the flash drive. Sometimes. Other times it may display the filmstrip view, or maybe even the thumbnails view for one folder but not another. The point is, it seems to be Windows that is deciding, not me. If you're doing some work with images, this tends to be a real PITA. :nolike:
