    Who should I use as a follower? I'm a Fighter/Monk and a capable warrior (therefore, no Daelan or Grimgnaw). Who should I use between Boddyknock, Linu, Sharwyn or Tomi?

    I was a fighter and for the first 3 chapters I took Tomi as I got annoyed not being able to get into unbreakable boxes and chests and also there was the occasional trap that my guy couldn't set off without killing himself. He's also not too bad in a fight but he can be a little uncontrollable. Later on I got annoyed with him and my guy had 200+ hitpoints and more money than I could ever need so I got Daelan and very few creatures ever survived for long after that.

    I have also tried the gnome sorcerer and sharwyn but I don't know how good they would be in a hard fight as you cannot give henchman complex orders so they might be a bit stupid with their magic.

    I'd recommend Linu. She is an effective combatant in melee and has a good assortment of clerical spells, few of which are likely to be dangerous to me (I play on core rules). She is also bad news for undead. Besides, an unexpected "Heal" spell when getting your butt handed to you is never a bad thing. :D

    All the spellcasters tend to use up their spells first and cause a bit of overkill as a result. For that reason (and the 'core rules' issue) I don't use Boddyknock.

    Tomi is nice if you can't stand traps and Sharwyn was a good teammate as well. But I think Linu is the best, if you don't need a thief.

    So...what about Boddyknock? I might need a good spellcaster to blast the creatures into oblivion. Does he has Knock?

    Currently I might use Tomi.

    The spellcasters for the most part seem to concentrate on defensive and buff spells when I used them. Boddyknock forex seemed to prefer to cast Improved Invis. on me all the time which made it really annoying as I could never find my character in melee.

    Tomi is great if you want to go toe to toe and let him hang back with his bow. He'll sneak attack like crazy, and the last time I looked at him (level 14?) he does 7d6 damage for sneak attacks. He picks every lock possible, and it is a rare trap (usually on a chest containing magic items) he can't disarm.
