This is particulary to Shura:

What stats would you give a Ken-sword from the 8th century? I was thinking a masterwork, slashing, shortsword that is possible to use with weapon finesse, anything else that I could use?

I shall oblige you.  :p

If you mean the Chinese jian , I would set it at: Martial weapon, one-handed, 1d6 piercing damage, applicable to weapon finesse, with a threat-range of 19-20, wielder can choose to deal piercing or slashing damage with exotic weapon proficiency.

Personally, I would stat the katana like this:
Exotic weapon one-handed, martial weapon two-handed, 1d8 slashing damage, applicable to weapon finesse, threat range 18-20.

Wakizashi: Exotic weapon, one-handed, 1d4 damage, applicable to weapon finesse, threat range 18-20, wielder can choose to deal piercing or slashing damage.

Ninja-to: As described in Oriental Adventures.

Despite what the DMG and PHB says, katanas are not masterwork bastard swords. Neither are wakizashis masterwork short swords.

My personal favorite: Adamantite tetsubo with the improved sunder feat. Watch those holy avengers fly apart!

Well, the sword I'm talking 'bout is Chinese, as you said, but in my weapon book it's named Ken. I will search a bit on the web for it though.
