A thread to describe what you consider to be the funniest moments you've ever seen in sports. Ok, sure enough, my frame of reference is of course the Oilers.

Oilers' first ever visit to the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh ... a bench-clearing brawl Slapshot style, Glen Sather wanting to jump into the stands to beat up Penguins fans, a teenage girl crying in her mother's arms, this one has it all:

And then there's this gem. Patrick Stefen, first overall draft pick in 1999 (ahead of the Sedin twins btw), becomes the capital "G", "O", "A", "T" Goat here:

    Your turns.

I guess this keeper was pretty bored. I was actually there this day, only a kid, but everyone was like :O

Injured footballer gets even more unlucky...

Harry Redknapp (a manager) doesn't like getting hit by a ball while getting interviewed..

Woody Hayes punches Charlie Bauman for intercepting a pass during the 1978 Gator Bowl.

    'The Play.'

William Ligue Jr. and son attack Tom Gamboa, Kansas City Royals first base coach. To this day, I'm not sure anyone knows quite why. But when you're drunk and shirtless, do you really need a reason ... for anything? :p

And Little Junior has no regrets, apparently:

    That's friggin' awesome!

Well, I take it the band was supporting Stanford...? I have absolutely no knowledge of rugby/american football and its rules, but I suppose the brass band wasn't supposed to be there. :p
