What character ideas do you have for the future? Anything you're really looking forward to to play?

I'd like to play a Neutral Evil Paladin/Sorcerer. (The dark side variant) Sort of a champion of the dark. With an evil party, starting out on the side of evil working our way to power. That would give really nice roleplaying possibilities.

NG wizard who travels the world. I have used him as an NPC in a campaign, and I want to round out his past.

    Prestige Classes. Especially clerical/divine.
The Slayers Society (Book: Path of Faith) sounds pretty cool. Divine Disciple is nice, too.

I want to play a madman once: CN Wizard for example.

I would like to play a LN cleric of Wee Jas, using the domains of Death and Law, who specializes in wielding a spiked chain. (How cool is a guy in black plate mail twirling a 12 foot spiked chain, dealing out "death and judgment?" )

I'd also like to try being a wizard with the planeshifter prestige class in a campaign that let him make full use of it, wandering the multiverse. I envision him as either a true neutral half-fiend or a tiefling, fitting in nowhere, constantly wandering.

Plenty of other character ideas have popped into my head at one point or another, mostly inspired by prestige classes such as Elemental Savant, Pale Master, and Dragon Disciple.

I'm itching to play my latest monstrosity, a fighter who uses two repeating crossbows, one in each hand. The rules about using two ranged weapons are shaky because they don't expect you to even consider it. But between me and my DM, we've come up with a set of feats similar to Ambidexterity/Two-Weapon Fighting/Rapid Shot etc for ranged weapons with a lot more req's and restrictions. I also created a high level feat that I am gearing towards, which allows me to divide my attacks per round amongst any number of targets. Dodge, Mobility, Shot on the Run, Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot, and Quick Draw for good measure.

He's a Lawful-Neutral ex-bounty hunter, you know the silent but deadly kind. We're planning on starting the campaign with the players being level 5, so it should be pretty quick to get this ball rolling.

I can imagine running into a combat scene, two crossbows drawn, pointing them in opposite directions and proceeding to run by, leaving a wake of bodies on either side.... heh.

Well next thursday my friends and I start out again with AD&D and I'm not sure yet whether I shall continue with my paladin (9th level) or I'll try something new. A few ideas:

A CN sorcerer, with a fobia for some kind of animals ("AAARGH a harmless bunny. eat this fireball you rodent!)

    Or a dragon discipel

Or a wizzard (Discworld anyone?) like Rincewind

Or perhaps just my old buddy the paladin, but fleshing him out just a bit.

I'm really looking forward to trying out this character, a Drow Psion/Psycic Warrior. I've never tried using anything out of the Psionic's Handbook, but it all looks so fun. :)
