I have/am playing two so called ported games. Fable and GTA San Andreas. I got them because they had score over 90. 92 for Fable, and 96 for San Andreas. (give or take one point from different sites)

On an other tread I ranted about fable. Silver keys, saving, menu's, idiotic leveling/xp-gathering, peebrain levelbosses etc etc. All with all stil not a bad game but 92?

San Andreas scored 96. That is really high. The many cars, traffic, bikes, music, boats are nice. The story appears to be great. firefights are ok and the world is huge. all nice, all good. But the game also has some negative things like the driving and the lack of interacting with objects. (Just a few interactive hotspots with cutscenes.) The missions so far seems to be something like this: gansta cutscene, drive shoot shoot drive shoot drive drive, gansta cutscene. So again I wonder 96?

I understand that different people experience games different. The debate is open. But how do they rate those games. Do they really play all versions, pc xbox, playstation, or just one and copy the rating.
