Please answer these questions as best as you can to help me. Thanks.

    1. How do I edit "Fractions" so that when I choose hostile, commoner, ect. the NPC doesn't always try to kill me?

    2. What is the "Palette" and what does it do?

    3. How do I get NPC's to wear the armor I have equiped on them?(So you see it in game.)

    4. How do I make it so that when the main character die's s/he spawn's back at a portal like in the game.

    5. Wasn't there a way to use the tool set to open the offical modules when you finished that module? Can you do that or no?

    ok

1 - it's on the advanced tab of the creatures properties. You can change which faction they're in and/or create/edit new/existing factions setting how they react to the other factions.

2 - The palette is the bit at the side where you can choose what to paint. I'm guessing you're asking because you've had the message "something or other can only be edited from the palette"? If this is the case then just find the item in the appropriate subsection and right click > edit/edit copy the item.

3 - Equip the armour on the npc's then make sure they have required level and the necessary feats/proficiencies to wear it. Then look at them in the toolset (or properties either works. properties is probably easier) and if the armour shows then that's good (although it still might not work in-game). As well as the feats/levels/ proficiencies you have to check that the model is a plain one (human,dwarf,half-orc,elf etc) and not an already skinned one (male 23 etc). To make sure - if it's plan you can change stuff in the appearance tab, if it's skinned then you can't.

    4 - I don't know

5 - if you've downloaded a module you can open it up in the toolset anyway. You can do the same for the official campaign chapters but there's something else you have to do first which im unsure what it is.

    Hope my answers helped you.

    4. I've seen this done, but haven't done it myself so I can't answer at the moment.

    5. (IIRC, it should go like this) Select 'file, and click 'open'. Select the 'campaign' check-box at the bottom of the dialogue screen. You'll see a list of the module chapters you've completed. When you select one to open, you'll get a message asking if you want to open it as 'Read Only'. Select yes (or Ok, not sure which). If you're just looking around, this isn't a problem and nothing will save so you won't mess up the module. If you actually want to do stuff with the module, you have to make a copy ('save as' new file name). And that's it.

[IMG] 5 You can even view sp modules you haven't completed in the toolset. Just edit the suffix from .nwn to .mod of course, that would be a spoiler ....

Ok so now that I can open the offical stuff I can use that as a guide. Now all I have to do is beat the game because I'm not going to open stuff I haven't beaten yet. Thanks a whole bunch. I'm going to leave again but if I have any questions then I'll be back.
