    Can you believe how close these planes are to those people? I don't think I'd want to be those people in slides 1 and 6... Crazy!

    I can't believe that they would fly so low... there's only a few meters between the plane and the fence and the suction could probably pull people over, not to mention the risk to the plane. I'm assuming that this is telephoto lens at work... at least on pics 1 & 6.

    I don't buy it. No one's covering their ears, and those engines would be really loud. I also doubt that the airline would make itself liable for all the things that could happen to random person x by flying a plane close to them.

    Friends of mine have been underneath planes near Juliana Airport that close at St.Maarten.

    Here's a movie (not by said friends, btw):


    It's said that KLM and Air France have been picking up hitch-hikers at that spot. :p

    The phots are decieving. The planes aren't really that close. But many islands have small runways and limited runway space and could have landings close to the beach or hotel. Hell, at Newark Airport, when you are driving on I-95 along the airport, it looks like the planes are coming right at you before landing on the runway. It's pretty awesome.
