I recently decided to bust out good old BG1 and play it again. Problem is I can only find CDs 1-4. Is there any way to get it to work with only four of the five cds?

Well you can play all the way up to the Baldurs Gate town itself with 4 cds, unless im mistaked the only thing on cd5 is the baldurs gate town itself.

Other than that, if you have a buddy that have the game get him to make you a copy, or just buy one of those cheap versions out there in the shops, you can get it for like 10$/€ now.

Well, I'd wait for a definite answer from a mod, but I'm betting it's going to be no.

And actually, I'm not so sure he does have a legit copy. The person I learned of the game from had a downloaded copy and all the discs worked except Disc 5. An odd coincidence, no?

No warez, no illegal downloading, no instructions on how to do it, no links to places for it, none of that stuff. (To the extent that the foregoing was rather duplicative, we hope that will impress on you that we are serious.)

To make sure that this is understood completely, let me quote from the rules (yes, those rules, the ones that you *did* read, right?):

    (14) No illegal software/warez. We don't take kindly to people using our forums for the illegal solicitation or trade of illegal or copyrighted material. Requesting cracks and the like is out of the question.
