Who do I talk to to get this quest? I originally thought I had it.....I remember the conversation, but it's not in my journal. I've gone back to the Wandering Village and visited with everyone again, but I'm not seeing the quest being offered.

I've also gotten to the lake screen and have seen the lights, but can't interact with them in any way.

The quest is actually to lay to rest Kyostis spirit, I think. You get the detour into the ghost lights by talking to the ghost that waits just inside the forest. He promises to help you with Kyostis if you whack the willowisps.

Ok...then I do have this quest. I didn't, however, meet up with a spirit on my way to the small lake screen. Does he appear on any random screen or is it before we even get into Fell Wood? Should I stay where I'm at and try different screens from there or exit out and go through the screens again? :bang:

Just kill the whisps, get back to the Spirit, and then talk to Kyosti.
If you can't find the whisps, look for a thread on it.

You can't find kyosti until after you kill the will o wisps, so don't worry about that. If you are at the lake, you just need to follow the trail given you by the dryad, kill the wisps, and return to the ghost guy at the first 'square' of the forest. He'll tell you what to do with regards to kyosti.

Well, I've visited the dryad quite a few times and she has not given me directions yet. I'm currently sitting at the lake and have checked all the screens in the other areas as well, I think... but no wisps. I've met the wolves, skeletons and spiders. Now I'm wondering if I should restart this whole section over from scratch?

They take every kind of damage though not that much from anything. Try spells though, I used main'y walls of fire (or some other fire spell I don't remember)

And I dunno if anyone has mentioned this but if you have a ranger or barbarian or druid with a high wilderness lore skill you can use that skill to see which exit you must take
