[IMG] Ok i have heard stories about people who are tryin to clock IWD with one character is it possible?
If i had a choice of which character it would be fighter because he can smash anything that goes in his way smash locks open etc...
Has anyone got any other suggestions on which character would be better off?

There is a character you can download from the IWD part of this site called Lord Draco Vlasavius:
    http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD/index_editors.php

From the readme file that comes with the charcater I think this guy went solo. Anyway, I notice that he has recently started posting on the forum again so maybe you could ask him directly....

    (just don't make him angry)

[IMG] 1 character? 1 of my classmates was blowing off about trying this. He's full of crap. Even if you DID get really stronf coz you got all the experience, it would suck. You need a full party for the full experience you know. Some bowmen for ranged attacks. Fighters to block the archers. A mage to cas spells and the most important person: The DECOY. The character that tricks the enemy into following them into your trap. Why wouldya wanna be a "SuperCharacter"? :p DECOYS ROCK

well it is possible especially with a dual-class, try fighter/cleric or fighter/mage, and using a lot of potions and planning before tough battles. keep in mind that if you play without a cleric, resting times will be very-very long if you rest until healed, because there's no cleric to cast healing spells while resting. it is fun getting to higher chapters in the game and watching your char level go high, but i personally got bored and quit although i think i could have made it all the way. like someone said, a fighting game like IWD is more fun playing as a team.

    Soloing isn't really good.
I strongly believe that a 3 member party is required at least. A fighter type, preferbably a Paladin here for the high charisma and other awesome stats and Pale Justice later.
Next, a Cleric/Mage multiclass for healing and umm magic? This character'll be VERY weak initially but will provide good backup later.
Lastly, a fighter thief. Dual Class would be good, provided you dual at Level 2 because you need a thief quickly. However, this means you'll have to let your fighter take the brunt of melee combat. A multi-class gives you less theiving skills but provides decent fighting ability later.
Some tatics of my suggestion, I guess.

This may be obvious but it hasn't been mentioned yet, you can always try the MC fighter/mage/thief for an all around character that can fight cast spells and find/disarm traps.
