    Google Trends
It keeps track of everything that people search for, and displays a graph. Combine words by using a comma to compare several different tings at once, (i.e. cat, dog, goldfish).

And if you do get bored with it...here's a challenge. Try to find the word(s) that beat the word "free". I know of four...but have fun finding them. :D :rolling:

I can think of at least one, and it's get the same number of letters. AND it usually comes just after "free"

I've no idea what Google is trying to do, and to be honest I'm starting to get a little suspicious of some stuff they do. Emails that you delete but stay stored on some obscure server, cookies that a Google search mysteriously tries to install... I have nothing against them collecting information per se but I am worried about potential abuse, especially with respect to emails.

If you're thinking of "porn"...you're wrong. Porn doesn't even come close to free. :p :rolling:

The words more popular than 'free' are actually quite boring. 'The', 'and', 'a' and 'de' seem to be more popular than 'free' (and yes, 'de' counts as a word; it's not always about English y'know). I'm sure there are other similar short words out there that are very popular.

I'm pleasantly surprised that 'free' beats out 'sex' - maybe mankind isn't as degenerate as I expected...

On the contrary, that 'free' beats out 'sex' just represents our desire to have something for nothing. Mankind simply doesn't want to have to try to get anything.

Mesmero seems to have found the answer- the more popular words aren't full words- they're just connecting words like 'of'. Not a bad game though.
