Well I don't know no "Gothic" Techno, but my knowledge on proper Techno is just splendid. From full out percussive to the more progressive musical varieties. I'm always interested in broadening people to my musical horisons :p So if you would like (i'm aware the chances are against it, due to peoples knowledge of Techno being far removed from the magnificent truth of it) I could fill you in on some real Techno? Whadya say?

Umm - never heard of Gothic 'Techno'. Mayhap you should seek after Gothic Metal. It may be a bit more existant :D

*Wonders on how gothic and techno could possibly be mixed - not that he really knows much about techno, but it doesn't seem likely*

[IMG] Gothic techno is a stream in the Gothic scene just like gothic metal is. Since I don't know any band I can't give an example. But there are this gothic techno parties and all... so someone must know...

IMHO this kind of music is not worth anyone's while.

But you could try "Tanzwut" and "E Nomine".

I really like Death In Vegas. I'm not sure if it fits the "gothic techno" label, but you can always give it a try...

Maybe you mean industrial. That's the closest type of music I can think of that's dark and electronic. Like Nine Inch Nails or Ministry.

If you're looking for Cyber Goth, then you should try bands like:

    - Apoptygma Bezerk.
    - VNV Nation.
    - Assemblage 23.
    - NeuroticFish.
    - Funker Vogt.
    - Covenant.

Go to Netgoth's Music DB sometime and look for bands based in genres like electronica, ebm, futurepop, etc, if you want a bit more than that.

I'm just starting to explore the wonderful world of techno music, so I don't know if I'm going to be much help... :)

Would Meat Beat Manifesto and Velvet Acid Christ fall into the Gothic techno category?
