What exactly is changed in HoF compared to normal ?

    I found out

    - Quest XP *2
    - Enemy Monsters HP: *3 + 80
    - Fighting XP gained *4 + 2000

    I suspect

    - Enemies do double(?) damage (both magic and melee)
    - Enemies attack twice(?) as often

    Does anyone know

    - If and how enemy AC and THACO are changed ?
    - How the enemy HitDice are changed (For spells like "Power Word: Stun" and turning undead) ?
    - How THACO, AC, number of attacks and HP of the summons are calculated ?

According to the "patch.txt" file they crippled them somewhat since version 1.41.
They seem to do only normal damage and have less HP.
2 summoned skeletons won't stand a chance against 1 enemy skeleton.

In IWD2, summons were also affected via HoF, so summons were very valuable there! Isn't it same in IWD? It is unfair!

So monsters get same boosts like in IWD2 HoF? Isn't it unfair too as in IWD2 and spiffy 3E rules, PCs can amass godly HPS, (like 300 or such) but in good od 2E and IWD it is impossible to have such HP?

I think monsters also get a pretty high bonus to THAC0, and # of attacks as well, judging from IWD2 HoF, and also saving throws are greatly enhanced. (How much?) Hitdices are enhanced soo greatly that powerwords or turning were completely useless in IWD2 HoF.

I wonder if it is the same in good old IWD too! Tell us OK? I am very curious!

at highest levels my rangercleric could turn undead a fair amount fo the time but I tended to use the spell that did that rather than the actual turn unead ability.

I didn't have to fight once in the Severed Hand. With sanctuary and turn undead my level 29/30 solo cleric/mage destroyed all enemies even in HoF.

But at level 18 he needed a few turning attempts to destroy the respawning skeletons in the southeast cave in the Vale of Shadows.

Yes, the only undead my level 29/30 cleric/mage couldn't destroy in HoF mode were spectral knights in TotL(they only ran away) and the enemies in the TotL final battle.
