Help with final battle - Demon won't die

    I am having trouble with this game. I purchased the box set
    from atari and loaded icewind dale and heart of winter onto my pc. I played
    through the entire dale part up to the scene where I face Belhefit
    (Spelling wrong) in what I think is the final battle. I get himdown to "almost
    dead" and then no matter what I do nothing seems to finish him off. I easily
    delivered 150 hit points of damage after he was at almost dead before i
    gave
    up.

    Can i fix this or am i screwed?

    This happens sometimes. Just try again. It might be because you did damage too fast for the game to realize that the HP have gone below 0.

    Yup, had this bug as well, ended up for near two hours of continued battle before I gave up, started the fight anew (from earlier save) and beat the snot out of him.
