Help with Making Items

    [​IMG] I am trying to use the IEE item maker to make some items, but something is wrong with it or I'm doing something wrong. The problem starts when I try to save an item after I have typed in the item's description. An error message saying that a Dialog 12 error occurred and that the item can't be saved. What's going on here? :confused:

    If you're intending to distribute your items, you're not doing it the best way. Use WeiDU to add descriptions. :)

    If it's for your own general use, I'd check that your dialog.tlk is not flagged as 'read only' or somesuch, as this would prevent the extra text strings being written to it. Some editors also can't save files if another editor or a game is running at the time.

    In general, you might get faster and more responses to editing questions if you post them on a modmaking questions board such as http://forums.gibberlings3.net/index.php?showforum=16 or http://forums.pocketplane.net/index.php?board=37.0 :) Both allow Guest posting, though registration is always nice.
