Hmmmmm............. Minidics

Discussion in 'Whatnots' started by The Amazing Ooopah, Jan 24, 2001.

  1. [IMG] Reet, I need some advice. I'm going on a school trip (snowboarding in Stowe - anyone been there?) to the good ol' US of A in Feb. and I'm gonna buy a minidisc for the flight (mmmmmmmm........... 7 hours, lovely).

I need some help about which obe to buy. The price rang is about £150 - £180 (what's that in dollars?). I do have some in mind, they are - Sony MZE75L (£180) amd the Sharp MDSR7H (£150 in a sale). Any ideas?

Oh yeah - why do all minidiscs have such bloody stupid names - MDSR75H - WTF?????

And, yes, I know I wrote MiniDICS as the title, no comments please. :) (how do you a green smiley?)

In my mind, all you need is a player that plays and records, you don't need one with a built in toaster and a host of other completely pointless items. Does anyone here actually buy proper minidiscs, or does eveyone just record albums from C.D.?

Incase you wanted to know, I have the Sony MZ-R55, which is probably a bit out dated now, but it works brilliantly for me. Get whatever takes your fancy is my suggestion.
