    Hey.

I recently did a reinstallation of Win2k on my X2 because XP Pro was, honestly, a complete piece of unstable trash.

So, I reinstall every single of my games, and when I install NWN and crack in my CD Keys, the NWN and SoU are accepted without any problems, but the WHOLE HoTU key is in red. I checked again, and again, and again, and I entered the correct key, and there's nothing to do, the installer just doesen't accept it.

I have NWN Platinum Edition original.

Anything to do with that issue?

XP Pro, unstable trash? You'll be telling me next that Windows 98 was M$'s most stable system.

But anyway, if it's worked before, you must now be entering the code in wrong. If you have the original NWN directory backed up, you can get your codes from one of the ini files there. Or if you've registered the games on BioWare's site, your key information can be accessed online there.

Actually, I upgraded from Win2k, and the result was a truly catastrophic and unstable installation. I'm not an XP fan, so I don't know if all versions are unstable, but this one was rubbish. I quickly went back to the tried, tested and true Win2k. And as for Win98, SE wasn't too bad. :p

But back on topic, I gave it another shot yesterday, and I zapped in the CDKey exactly like written in the cover of the NWN manual, and the whole key is still in red. Even after a dozen tries it STILL wasn't accepted.

I suggest you try in the NWN technical support forum at BioWare. Other than that... I remember mistyping cd-keys several times in a row because of mistaking 0 for O or the other way round and similar such things.

Turned out that I had inverted two letters in the said CD-Key. It works great now.
