You need to leave the dungeons through the seal (I assume that you have obtained the ring off of the skeletal arm), which dumps you out into Myth Drannor. After killing the riff-raff in your way, generally head north and east and you will approach the house of gems (you need to switch areas a couple of times). That will take you to the house of gems area.

  4. You get the ring off the arm by doing a word of command. I think. I only read the book. BTW, the book is *way* better than the game.

You get the ring off the arm by going through the Rhonglyn thing to the wizard's area (you click on the blue gem to get you there). Once you get there, you go find the seer/sage guy and his sidekick and talk to them. I don't remember exactly where in the coversation it happened, but they gave me a "word" that took the ring off the arm. I don't believe that I had to do anything to cause that to happen other than talk to the guy. You then take the ring up to the halls of light and the seal (I think it was in the far north-west portion) and it automatically opens up for you. Hope this helps.
