I'm using Kelsey in my current game, and I'm not very keen on any of his portraits. How can I use one of my own?

    TIA

Not sure, but perhaps Shadowkeeper can do it.

I first thought that you could just go into the Portrait folders and put your own in there... but I think you might have to edit some of the scripts. I haven't modded in a while, so I forget which one exactly, but it might be difficult if you aren't acquainted with modding stuff.

EDIT: I believe you need to edit the .CRE file. Which would massively screw up everything because to do that you need to edit the CHR file and convert it to .CRE, and then go into every single script and replace the old .CRE with a new one. Because if I recall correctly, there is no way to edit a .CRE without replacing it...

Although I'm sure SK could make it easier.

EDIT: Although I'm sure Fel could make it easier ;)

Well, if you know the file names of their small and large portraits, you can put BMP files in the override with the same name, and they'll override the mod's default. SK would probably work too, but you'd have to do it each game.

Open your saved game in SK and click on "change portrait" button just below Kelsey's current portrait. A new window will open and you can change his portraits. You need to have the new small and large pictrues (with the right sizes) inside the "Portraits" folder in your BG2 main directory.
