How do these guys sound...

I've made a few basic NPCs and are adding to them. I was wondering if you guys liked them.

(The ones listed are all Romance options though they might not be that good )

Here are the ones nearly complete...

Aenaria Hartnew - F, Halfling. A sort of Mazzy that you can romance - I was wondering what class for her to be, I though perhaps a Paladin or a Bard. Aenaria is a quiet halfling found in the five flagons (I think, the one with H'D in it anyways)

Se'Varisse - F, Drow. Found in the underdark - you have to teach her common to help her survive in the world of light, even though you get her rather lat you can romance her in ToB. She comes with you because she claims to be able to help you in the underdark as she can tell you aren't from Ust Natha and saw you emerge from the Dragons cave, she doesn't know you aren't a Drow though - until you leave the underdark, that is.

Zjorlet - M, Drow. You get him in Irenicus Dungeon and he can speak common, he is another Romance option.

Bronber and Janeik - M&F Half-Orcs, yes, they can romance just thought that the half-Orc PCs might get lonely all alone, they are Barbarian and Sorcerer.

Nilara - F, Elf, Sorcerer - find her in Druids Grove, she is haunted by her brother who dies in the Troll mound - if you agree to help her *try* and rescue him.

Felaura - H-Elf Druid (totemic) - Felaura, a bit like a female Cernd except not as dull and talks more normal, her hobbies include dancing and bashing trolls

So, what do you think - any suggestions on dialogue or *anything* will be considered and probably incorperated in somehow!

And please reply, I need input from other people who play BG2 (and may be interested )

 

They are all pretty good. Do you have a thing for elves?

Ah, well. I *do* like Drow

and there aren't *that* many Elves in the game

Oh yeah, There is a also a Tiefling called Jamara. She is a bit odd, and often tries to confuse Haer'Dalis - I think she's a jester

 

Excellent. Many drow, half-orcs, more magic users. I like the backstory and location of Se'Varisse.

These are great ideas. Maybe the halfling bard lost her love of music and you must rekindle it through romanciing her in the literal sense, (bringing her flowers and candy, lots of cady) and maybe commisioning someone to make a musical instrument you can present to her.

Perhpas I could make an Item and put it in the Adventurers Mart or something

 

Neat ideas! Will your next project be to develop a few MALE NPCs worth romancing? Out of the current crop either Valygar or Yoshimo (or even Minsc!) would be vastly more interesting than Anomen. Haer'Dalis should be able to sweep a girl off her feet with that silver tongue, as well.

How about a paladin who pursues a formal courtship and wants to resolve all those nasty family issues before proceeding...

 

After I have completed these ones I will move onto eight Others - one is a paldin you can romance

Like a female yoshimo I suppose, She has a bit of a short temper. Human, Kensai, CN, Sparks will fly with most party members but none of it will come to more than verbal blows

 

Sounds neat but what happened to the ol' "i'm just tagging along for the cash and exp"? How about adding someone with an unclear past like in torment...It could be interesting to see how slowly an npc finds out about their past...

 

That sort of thing is what Felaura is about, she is trying to discover her past and thinks she can remember a past life.
