[IMG] Ok, that question was a bit wrong. But a friend sent me a quiz which in the end tells you how many planets we would need if everyone lived like you. You'll find it here.

If everyone was like Mollusken, we would need 2.3 planet Earths :p .

Hmmm....5.6 planets for me. Interesting quiz though. I wonder how much of the weighting was the result simply of where I live (Toronto)? Especially since: we don't own a car, and as a result walk or take public transit; use very little water (our garden is highly drought resistant); almost all of our food is organicaly grown and compostable (including what we don't grow ourselves); virtually all of our non-food products are recycled; and we use very little energy compared to many others.

    1.9 planets.

    My total footprint is 3.5.

Not too bad for a greedy American that drives a huge car and consumes lots of red meat.

Edit: Read, red, all the same. I read it all the time. In fact, I subscribe to it!

    5.9 planets.

Proof that I'm a greedy American that eats too much red meat.

Well, I'd like to find out, but the test gets to page 3 and just keeps reloading that one.

Anyways, there's some "friggin' ambigious questions in there".

    Like bike/walk/animal power?!?!
    And "electricity with energy conservation"?!?!?!

    2 planets.

Good thing there are starving people who live without electricity, walk miles to exterminate rival tribes with energy efficient machetes, and who wouldn't have the slightest idea how to turn a computer on, let alone take this test.

4.8 planets. Part of that is probably due to the fact that I didn't feel like converting litres/kilometre to miles/gallons.

7.5 planets. I have no idea what I did wrong, I don't have a car, I hardly ever fly, or anything.. I don't think I had to choose the worst option in any of those question.

2.6 planets, but I must throw out the disclaimer that I have an extremely rudimentary grasp of estimating in the metric system.
