How Much TV do you watch?

    With no basketball on TV, I average 0.00 minutes per day. If a major tennis/golf tournament is on, I'll watch an hour or two on the weekend if I'm not playing some sport, in the pool or reading on the hammock. However, I recognize that this takes me many standard deviations outside the norm, so how much TV do you watch per day on the average?

    Probably about an hour a day on average... practically all of it stuff I pre-select and watch recorded later. I hardly ever sit down and just channel hop in the hopes of finding something watchable.

    I watch "Breaking Bad" now that it's on again. We also watch the Cardinal's (although that's really on mlb.com and not TV). Other than that it's just sitting with the kids while their shows are on for about a half-hour on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

    I watch mostly stuff I've recorded and during the week I'll watch maybe one show a night and then more on the weekend. Some weekend days where I just want to veg and the Science Channel is playing episode after episode of How It's Made I may watch a few more :)

    I watch a fair bit. I record it on the PVR most times for leisurely playback later. I like to get complete seasons on DVD and watch them straight through.

    Like Tal, I record some things I want to watch, which is not much. With my recent schedule, though, I always have a half hour with nothing to do, so I eat lunch while watching tv. But since it's late afternoon, there's usually nothing on so I watch Judge Judy... :lol:

    I used to be a big tv buff back in the day. But I usually buy the tv series on DVD and watch that. I started re-watching the sopranos (I never finished the fourth season. But since I don't remember much, I decided to start from the beginning).

    I watch on average about 0 hrs per day. I moved to a new room at the beginning of this year, and haven't hooked up the TV to the cable since. Never felt the need to either. I do very occasionally put on a DVD or something, and when the mood strikes I might actually watch it too, rather than use it as a different form of background noise.

    Usually not much more than 1 hour/day, often less, although occasionally I might watch a few hours is its a movie or sports broadcast I'm interested in.
