I know this is lame...but I just cannot bear the fact knowing my lvl 17 character's portrait is the same as the luskan guards. Can I change my portrait now or do I have to start a new character?

    Thanks

[IMG] There's no way to change it. Idiotic, I know... All IE games allowed you to change soundsets and portraits, but not NWN for some reason...

Are there any unsupported hacks out there for apparences? I really hate my character's head, in fact, all the male human heads are terrible!

[IMG] if you mean on your char not your portrait there is a way to remove your head all together :)
you could be the headless warrior :D
if i remember right it is when you open the cheat bar (you need to set up the debugmode first if you haven't)
then the command is something like set head 0
or something like that you can hit tab and look through the commands you should find it easy enough then set the head to 0 which will remove it :)

The command is SetHead(00). You can find out what all these heads look like by going into the toolset, or just experimenting in game. Of course, you could always wear a helmet.

The winged helm has definitely approved my appearance, I just hate the standard heads. We need to develop a "star pack" so we can choose between Brad Pitt, Schwartzenager, etc ... ;)

Heh, good idea. Hm.. Why not make a module that, when there's a succesful called shot on your arm, it will be set to 0. Could be cool and then you'll have to go to a cleric or something to get it back ;)

[IMG] Good idea but a couple of problems.
    1. The arm is made of 3 parts (bicep, forearm, hand)
    2. You'd have a lot of floting swords which would look wierd (but cool as well  )
    3. IIRC called shot doesn't actually say which arm you target (im probably wrong though, i only tried called shot once or twice).

But Good idea all the same.

Sounds like you want to make a Soldier of Fortune mod for NWN. This could be interesting if it's actually done.

Slightly off topic, is there a way to change you're bio once the game has started. Or are you stuck with it throughout your characters history?
