How to play SOA and TOB separately?

    [​IMG] i recently started a game with my cousin online, but he doesnt have the expansion, so we have to play withhout the expansion. is there anyway to only uninstall the expansion, or have the expansion and soa seperate?

    yes, get a second computer...but if you want the game seperate on the same computer, well, you COULD format your hard drive and give it two partions. :rolling:

    If the uninstall wizard doesn't let you uninstall just TOB, you'll have to uninstall both and then reinstall SOA. Your saved games won't get deleted, so they'll be there when you reinstall SOA, as will the TOB games if you reinstall that later.

    When installing ToB, many of the SoA files are overwritten. Therefore, Bombur is correct, you have to uninstall the entire game, then reinstall just SoA. Only way to have both installed is to have a second computer. Because of the way the ToB install works, it could create some problems if you had both installed on 2 hard drives in the same computer.
