I Lost the CD Key For a Game!

    [​IMG] Hey does anyone know what to do if you lose the install key. Sure this sounds stupid, but we moved house and somehow it got lost somewhere.
    I have Diablo 2 installed & i have the expansion (not installed) because i do not have the cd key for the expansion i cant play the game!

    Does anyone know a way i can play the game?

    Gorm, the solution is to use illegal stuff.

    How could you "lose" the install key? It's printed on a sticker that is on one of the game cd jewel cases. Come on.

    It might have peeled off, or he might have lost the jewel case itself.

    Unless he keeps CDs separate, he'd loose the CDs too. And no way would that peel off, you couldn't scratch it off if you tried.

    I keep all my good games in the one CD carrier. I too have lost my diablo 2 jewl case(still have the expansion). I have it installed already though. Try to use Kazaa.com to find another Key.

    I am not sure what happened since i was in the US when i came back al my games and computer were in one big box. All my cd's were jumbled up. I looked around and i couldnt find the case. I found the cd in a different cover.

    I always keep all my CDs in a CD carries, and all my CD keys in txt files on my harddrive.

    Actually many games like Black & White and operation flashoint have the CD key on the back of the manuel.

    Look on the CD it's self. Very small but it should be on the end of all that mombo jumbo at the eage of the CD. If not then I then I think that your just screwed. Sorry dude but I'm just being blunt.

    Thanks for you help guys, i couldn't find anything in the manual and i had good look at the cd but no luck.
