I think I found a bug in the new Beta Patch

[IMG] I downloaded and installed the TOB Beta patch from Black Isle. I played my game today and I have noticed something strange happening. While still in SOA, Mazzy and Viconia were turned into demons, forcing the characters to slay them. No warning text was displayed or anything. Viconia in the Unseen Eye complex and Mazzy in Spellhold. They are completely gone from the game, so I can't use the Rod of Resurrection on them.

I did not know where to post this since the patch I installed was TOB, but I have noticed the bug in SOA. So, I posted it to TOB to see if anyone else has had this bug.

[IMG] If you read the forum description like you should, you'll see that you posted in the right forum.

Anyway, that beta patch is only to be used to fix one specific problem. If you didn't experience that problem, you shouldn't have installed it. I expect you didn't read the description of the patch there either. And the patch's over a year old, so don't expect any changes there. Ever. If you have such a monumental problem, reloading or reinstalling is your only option. And if you do reinstall, apply only the official ToB patch, not the beta one which, again, is to be used only for the specific problem described in its notes.
