Icewind dale 1 issue...

    I recently bought icewind dale to have some fun with, and have been playing through with few issues. I am now stuck at an unpassable issue though. I am in wyrms tooth, trying to enter what I believe to be is the place with fire salamanders at the entrance. During the loading screen, the bar reaches about half way, then my game crashes.

    I have tried several different methods of fixing it, such as changing my cache size to 300 instead of 150. Or changing my resolution to just about everything available. I have messed with several options around config with no luck. It is down to files...

    I am thinking there is a cutscene when entering this place for the first time. (I beat this game several years ago so my memory is a bit vague). This cutscene could be the cause of the crash. That or the file for the zone itself is not loading properly, probably corrupted (I got this for 40cents off amazon)

    Reinstallation failed, installing the expansion failed, patches failed (patches also came with the expansion in the first place) I am running out of options here. I want to finish off this game but with this kind of luck i doubt it is going to happen anytime soon. I am pretty sure it is a corrupt file, so if anyone could find where these files are or send me a copy of your files from these locations.. that might help.
