Icewind Dale won't install

    Remove all ads!
    [​IMG] I am trying to install Icewind Dale, but it freezes at 0% everytime. A message box pops up saying:

    "An error occurred during the move data process: -117

    Component: Minimum
    File Group:
    File: E:bad:IDMain.exe

    I have tried installing it on both my hard drives (C & D) and both of them do this. My computer is an 850 MHZ, 192 MB RAM. Why won't it install??

    Do you have enough space where you're trying to install it to? And do you have a legal copy or a burned one/warez?

    Yeah, I have enough space on my hard drive. The game is also a legal copy I bought at a store. I tried copying and pasting all the files from the CD to the hard drive, and it froze when it got to that IDMain.exe file. A message box came up and said it couldn't read the specified device. I wonder if my CD is damaged?

    Quite likely it's damaged on the part that contains that file, that's why I couldn't read it. If you have an alternative drive you could try if that one can read it. Check the CD for scratches. If it is damaged your only hope is to get a replacement.
