People like this should never, ever, ever be allowed near a car. Would you not give up around attempt number 20? Should the police not forbid her from sitting any more tests, or at least prevent her from trying her practical test if she ever passes the written.

well i don't think that there should be a restriction on how many times you should be able to take the test.

that being said she should be able to realize that it is not going to happen and stop trying

What a thick *****, it's not that hard to drive! She must surely be trying to fail on purpose. Surely by law of averages she'd have passed by now, it's multiple choice! I can imagine the test being more 'lax' than it is in Britain, too.

That is hilarious if not also a little bit sad -- talk about a blow to the ego. I think a limit of 100 times in a 1 year period would be a fair one -- after that, you have to take a 6 month waiting period before you can try again. This woman is just spinning her wheels and wasting her money.

I thought the same thing. Just by looking at which questions you got wrong, and selecting different answers the text time, you should be able to pass it after a few tries.

Is it just me who thought it was hysterical that she was Korean?

I do, there are too many idiot drivers on the road, we dont want a situation where people are passing by fluke.

I wouldn't worry, since she still has to pass the practical. After all, memorizing sign shapes and colors when what you are supposed to do is written on the sign is hardly important. Knowing how many seconds you need to be behind the car in front of you based on your speed is hardly important either. Who actually picks landmarks and counts? Passing the practical is, in my opinion, 10 times more important than passing the written.

Yeh, but how dangerous is she going to be when sitting those practical tests?

Hard to say. Here in Iowa, the test has so many useless and impractical questions that I nearly failed it (I didn't bother to study before the test). If the test is full of useless nonsense like the test here in Iowa, I'm not sure her repeated failures really mean all that much.

Hmmm.... My first thought was 'perhaps she can't read.'

The inability to read may have little affect on her performance during the practical exam.

I'm in the opposite situation as this poor woman. I failed by one the first time I did the written, but never had a problem with it again. Mind you the practical is what screws me up. The Tester was able to point out things that I did that made me an unsafe driver. After the second failed attempt, I gave up.
