I don't think I wanna even consider making a BG movie til I see how Lord of the Rings comes out. I hated the new Dungeons and Dragons movie. It had only 2 high points. The first was the Thieves' guild maze and the more important one was the hot girl mage ;) Zoe something... she is SUCH a hottie.

  7. [IMG] Aw man, you don't wanna read the BG books. Well, I'm not sure about the second one, but the first sucked bigstyle.

For some reason I was under the impression that the Dungeons and Dragon's movie used the BG1 plot. If that is the case, then the actors for the protag, Minsc, Jaheria, Imoen etc. would all be alresdy decided. of course, I haven't seen the movie, and am going on rumour, and the fact that someone here quoted Edwin from the movie.

The books for BG1/2 and PST all sucked big time. I actually bought the BG2 book, waste of good money.

No the movie was crap. And it had a shityy plot. Good GOD, if that red dragon rod was SOOOO powerful, why didn't they have a bloody lich attack?! Such a shitty plotline... Marlon Wyans made it funny, then they whack him. Whoever made that movie, out to be thrown into the Thieves' guild himself...
    -Film adaptations rarely work out-
