Is there a difference between the Diamond and Platinum compilations? The Platinum comes on DVD, which is convenient, and it's about half the price of the Diamond. I gather that they both include both expansions, so Platinum seems like the obvious choice. Is there something extra and worthwhile about the Diamond package that would make it more expensive?

EDIT: after some research at Bioware's site, I've learned that the Diamond edition has the Kingmaker 'expansion'. So the question becomes: is this Kingmaker worth about 15 more USD?

I don't know, I just got NWN Diamond and haven't gotten past the origional mod. I think you can get kingmaker on ebay for about $10 shipping included if you shop carefully.

I'd say $15 for those three modules is worth it. It goes for about £10 by itself over here, so $15 (roughly £8, I think) is a pretty good price. Shadowguard and Witch's wake are short but entertaining, and Kingmaker seems the most innovative of the lot, although I havent got around to finishing it yet. If you really feel like saving the money, though, there are always loads of modules available for free download. Its just a case of finding the good ones.

The SP games store will be getting a major expansion today, so there should be no more confusion like that in the future. :)
