You know, now that I think about it, I don't remember them calling him anything other than "The Dwarf" throughout the entire movie. Such a fine tutorial in character development that moovie was ;)

I don't know...When I played P&P that's pretty much all we ever said: "Send the Dwarf!" But then again, the dwarf in our party was pretty much a treasure troll anyway! :D

I haven't seen the movie and I heared the movie isn't very good. But people who told me that aren't realy into the D&D/fantasy-scene. So I thought, maybe the movie is worth watching when you're very interested in Fantasy, played D&D etc.

So what's your opninion about this movie and should I watch it?

I haven't seen it either, but (at least in America) it is now rent-able.

Maybe this weekend I'll pick it up. Right now its tied with Castaway (hey, any movie that has a volleyball as a main character can't be all bad!)

In my opinion the movie was ok, but if you're going to see it, then get the DVD. At least there you get to see the scenes of character development (which they conveniently cut away to satisfy what is probably the american youths' demand for action (Gee, hope I didn't insult anyone now :p )). They're not put into the movie itself though, but as deleted scenes.

What? What? What? All right this is it. This film is clearly repressing the individuality of the dwarven proletariat, Brother Elwood. The Alliance of the undersized (Au), along with several other factions (bloody splitters), calls for an immediate boycott on this ludicrous piece of elfocratic propoganda!

umm i forgot the dwarfs name, but the movie is kinda... it's crap. heh. If you see it the only reasons would be:
    1) Effects
    2) The Thieves guild maze, with the guy from the crystal maze, hehe
    3) Zoe Maclelan (Did I spell it right?) She's a hottie ;)
