Inane question: Dropped calls

    If somebody calls me on their cell phone and I try to answer, only to fumble the phone and it falls on my foot, buttons down and accidentally hits the button that hangs up on them, does that count as a "dropped call"?

    That depends on whether your phone is a cell phone or land line, the time of day, how recently you had a shower, and what show is currently on HBO.

    You have buttons the size of pingpong balls? My shoes don't have the texture required to be able to press just one button if my phone lands on it.

    My most common missed call method is to rummage in my backpack for the phone when it rings, only to accidentally cancel the call when I try to extricate the phone from all the other stuff there.

    That's an awful lot of work to make an excuse to avoid somebody's phone calls. I just don't answer it and when questioned by my wife, I tell her my phone never rang. :D

    I was on a landline, a cordless phone. Either the big "Talk" button or the "Flash" button, which are the two largest buttons will disconnect the caller. "Flash" is for use with call waiting.

    Here, I went and got my cell phone to snap a photo of my cordless.

    I just noticed that the wire for my headphones is in the background. That is unintentional, but makes it look like the red phone has a wire. I simply stuck the phone on my desk, went and got my cell phone from the other room, snapped a photo, hooked up the USB wire, and grabbed the photo straight off the phone and uploaded it to an album on SP.
