    I second that, Ragusa. I heard about this on the news yesterday, and while I don't know much about the woman, being held hostage in the jungles of South America for 6 years is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I hope she's able to put her life back together and find some happiness.

    What I read now was that she was bought/bribed out which is strongly denied by the Colombian government. Can't find any links for it though but it was mentioned in the papers hereabout. Some Swiss dude who had been involved in it all claimed that some 20 million US$ were involved not as hostage payment but to bribe the people in the camp she was held. Sadly I have no verification.

    I wonder how changed you are as a person after having been trapped in the jungle for years and years.
