Interesting Discovery

    I am just starting to play NWN and discovered something interesting. I am sure all you veterans know this, but since I did not see it mentioned in the walkthroughs I glanced at I thought I would mention it.

    After being promoted to 3rd level by Fenthik (sp?) in the stables, I discovered that I can return to the Academy and any goblins/skeletons that I did not kill before are still there and they give XP. So last night I started again as a Wizard and went straight for the stables, killing only those monsters necessary in order to get to the stables. I did not even bother to loot any treasure. After leveling up to 3rd level, I then returned to the Academy and started looting and killing everything I had avoided during the Prologue. This netted me so many XP that I made it to 4th level in the Academy. What a great way to start the game with some easy XP that you get to keep.

    Sorry if this is old news to you veteran NWNers, but I thought it was interesting.

    Interesting, I'd never noticed that before. But then I was always too anxious to get out the training bit :p
